Jenny knew it was only a matter of time, before Jesse told Tad that she was alive, and she did not want Tad to hear about it from Jesse, so she decided to do it now, before another minute passed. Pulling up into the driveway, she parked her car and got out.
She then walked up to the door, and knocked three times, and waited for someone to open the door, her heart pounding faster and faster by the second.

Dixie soothed with a sigh as she and Nolan were jolted out of a nap on the couch by a knock on the door.
Getting to her feet cradling her still whimpering boy close she opened the door only to see a familiar face on the other end.
"Omigod, Jenny, I..."
She said as she let her in but walked her off to the side out of earshot.
"Look, he's in now with Tara. I, if you need me, I'll be here but, I..go on, take all the time you need."
She said, gesturing to the nursery down the hall where Tad was.

Jenny took a deep breath, as she started to walk down the hall. Even though it was a small hallway, it seemed like it was taking her forever to get to the nursery, but once she did, all she did was stand there, at the doorway.
Noticing the door was cracked, she pushed on it, just to open it up, as she then stood there, looking at her brother, and for the first time, in a long time, there eyes met one another. "Brother"

“Dixie I thought you wanted me to put her too sleep.” he said looking up and seeing somebody totally different.
“What the hell.” he said looking up into his sister’s eyes. Thinking he was seeing a ghost he stood up and laid Tara in the crib. He walked up to her and touched her cheeks.
“Wh.. No you can’t be here!” he yelled not believing his eyes. Tad looked at her again and a tear trickled down his face. “No!” he walked out the room and went to his room, slamming the door behind him.
His sister couldn’t be alive. Not even in a million years. For one it just wasn’t possible and two.. Well it was just happening to much. First Jesse, then Dixie, then Babe, then Greenlee. This was to much for him.

Hearing the door slam from clear across the loft, Dixie jumped as Nolan wailed. Trying to soothe him she brought him over to the nursery only to see a very shaken Jenny standing there.
Brushing past her she scooped a whimpering Tara up and cradled both her babies close. Family or not, despite being introduced this woman was still a virtual stranger to her, plus she'd clearly upset her husband and her mama bear side kicked in..
This supposed plan of action was going down in flames and now her husband was upset. Something she wasn't gonna stand for in their own house. Quickly she walked into the bedroom where Tad was sitting looking like a stunned lost little kid on the foot of the bed, breaking her heart in two.
Setting the babies down in the playpen area she came up behind him on the bed without thinking twice and kissed him on the cheek before she wrapped her arms around him protectively,a last ditch effort to shield him from all the confusion and pain that'd just hit him full force.
She didn't know what she was thinking letting Jenny walk in on him like that, if she even was thinking. She thought by now this would've been behind them, that the woman had a plan. Now she knew that wasn't the case and it broke her heart knowing she should've found a way to break this to him more gently. She should've protected him better and handled this better rather than let him be blindsided. They all should've.
Now she felt like she'd failed and tears filled her eyes as she held him tighter, hoping and praying that this wouldn't break them even though she was trembling and scared to death what her stupidity and sitting back could have cost them.

This was not how she wanted things to end, and certianly she did not want Tad to react the way that he did. Jesse acted the same way, but he got passed all of the impossibles, and realized the truth, which the truth was, she was very much alive. She couldn't help herself. She had to follow him.
Walking in the hallway, she stood there, and and then leaned against the wall. "Brother, please. Please, just try and understand" she said speaking out loud for him to hear.

Tad felt Dixie and pulled away. “How long have you knew about this?” he asked as the door opened and he looked over to see Jenny.
“Help me understand. Please somebody help me understand this.”
“Who else knew about this? How long have they knew about this
He dropped his head. Waiting on one of them to explain. He knew Dixie knew because she let her into the apartment. Without even acting surprised.

Dixie choked out warily as Tad pulled away from her, only to see Jenny come to the door and hear him ask the inevitable question.
"Tad, I found out, um, a bit before the Halloween party, um...Brooke, told me. See Brooke, found out somehow that, Angie knew Jenny was alive, and was gonna use it to drive a wedge between Jesse and Angie, 'cause Angie knew and Jesse didn't. Later she, came to the house and, told me this, a way to, ease her conscience about it I dunno. She said she almost broke Jesse and Angie all because of a secret. Well I, pressed to find out what the secret was, and after she dropped the bomb on me she just, walked off. And, afterwards I..I went to the park to, clear my head and, saw your sister. I..I wanted to tell you Tad but, I was totally blindsided by the whole thing. I..Jenny told me that she was gonna handle the situation. And Angie told me she, wouldn't let this affect us. And I trusted them, I thought they'd handle telling you the truth in, in their own way. When the time was right. I know, I know I should have come to you right when I found out, but, sat back like a fool. I..I'm so sorry Tad I..I handled it all, completely wrong. I just, was so thrown I..I didn't know how to handle it. I'm so, sorry."
She admitted apologetically, not knowing what to say or how to make things at all right, and looked to Jenny teary eyed hoping she'd be able to assist.

She then walked into the room, and looked at Dixie, as she then looked down. "Dixie, can you give me just a minute alone, with my brother, please?" she asked, getting a nod from Dixie, and waiting till she walked out of the room. She then closed the door behind her, and went to sit by her brother.
"Look, I know this is all confusing to you, but this is real. I am real. Our father kidnapped my body from my grave, and I was barely alive, and unconcious, which is why I guess everyone thought I had died, but he kept me captive for alot of years, until one day I finally escaped, and went to New York. I lost my memories of you, and of Pine Valley, and I started a new life in New York." she said as she then looked down.
"I even went to medical school, and got my degree in cardiology. I have made something of myself, brother, and it was not until I saw Angie two years ago, that I finally regained my memory. She had told me about Jesse, and is death, and I told her that I did not want anyone to know, not even you, because I was afraid for you all" she said, as tears began to fall down her face, as she looked back to her brother.
"I am sorry. I am so sorry, Tad" she said, as she then leaned in and hugged him around his neck. "Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?" she asked.

After scooping up the babies and leaving Tad and Jenny in the bedroom, Dixie headed over to the nursery and set Nolan in the crib to sleep but cradled a fussy Tara close as she curled up in the rocker, tearing up all the while out of frustration and just plain fear.
The look Tad had in his eyes when she was explaining what she knew about Jenny was all too similar to the one that'd been there when she'd told him what happened to Kate. Not surprising considering both times she'd consciously kept him apart from someone he deeply loved. The amount of time she kept quiet and the circumstances were different and more convoluted this time but the ugly root of it all was still the same, and she felt the same gnawing guilt she had back then come back. Something she never expected to feel again and would pay not to.
All she hoped was he'd see she never meant to keep quiet and had gotten tangled up in this mess unwillingly. But considering how he'd already forgiven her for this sin once upon a time, part of her wondered if he'd be able to again. Or if she'd given him incentive lately to even want her. She'd been harping on and stressing him out more often then not lately, over the wedding and other stupid trivial things that didn't matter at all. And was petrified he'd see her as the same harping shrew that she'd become before their second divorce. Something she barely survived all those years ago, and knew she wouldn't survive again.
But now any hope of her heart getting through this unbroken lied with if Jenny was getting through to him, and how he'd feel when he wrapped his head around this. Neither of which she knew, scaring her in addition to having to play the waiting game to see if she and Tad had a shot at getting past this.
Cradling Tara with one arm, she toyed with her star with her free hand only to have her little girl get the same idea as she reached for it gently, getting Dixie chuckling weakly, and smiling a bit if for no reason then for her daughter.

Tad didn’t know what to say. So his best friend who swore she would never lie to him. Lied to him. Angie promised she would never do anything to hurt him yet she did. Dixie said she wouldn’t do anything to hurt him yet she did. But Angie knew for 2years. 2whole years, going on 3. She knew his sister was alive. She didn’t give him any hints.
But as he thought about he couldn’t stay mad. Angie was protecting her and he wouldn’t have trusted anybody else but Angie. He turned back to Jenny and did something he wanted to since the day she died.
“I’ve missed you! Of course I forgive you. I can’t stay mad at you. I can’t do that!” he said hugging her and picking her up off the floor a little.

Jenny was somewhat shocked, but in a good way, when he lifted her off the floor abit. After a few moments, he set her down, and she looked up to him, and hugged him back. "Wow. That is totally not the response I was expecting, but, I will take it" she said with a small smile, as she then sat back down on the bed.
"Now, the only other person who does not know yet, is mom" she said as she then looked away, not wanting to see his reaction. "I have not told her yet, because I figured I would come to you, and maybe you and I could tell her, together?" she asked looking back to her brother.

“Wait Jesse knows already?” he asked. He knew Jenny and Jesse were inseparable. There wasn’t a thing they wouldn’t do for each other.
“And hell yea we can tell momma. She’ll be more than happy to see you I mean all her life she thought about you. I did to but nobody more than her. I mean you would have to tell her everything but I will be there.” Tad began to roam the room. Right this was his umpteenth time doing something like this but in the end he didn’t care.
“So I mean aside from the school thing. You’ve been doing good. I mean you have been living right.” he asked being the overprotective brother he was so happy to be again.

"And I will tell mom everything, Tad" she said as she then stood up, and looked at herself in the mirror. "Yes, I have been doing really good, Tad, and Angie said that once I came out to you and everyone else, that she would see about getting me a job at the hospital" she said with a smile, as she turned and looked to her brother.
"Wouldn't that be so great? Angie said that I would be the main Cardiologist there, so I could really make a difference in other's lives" she said, as she then extended her hand to her brothers. "But first, we must go see mom before any of that happens"

“That’s perfect. Your staying here. We’ll, it’ll be like you’ve been here forever. And trust me I know Angela can get you something. You’ll do good I know that.” He said happy that Angie was really looking out for her. He knew it wasn’t hard to get a job at PVH but to have somebody putting in a good word for you. That made it easier and better.
“Well I am not sure about right now. I mean momma is probably fighting with Palmer or doing her tarot cards. I.. Maybe you should hold out on that for awhile. Unless you want to get your palm read.”
