Brooke looked up, with so much pain showing in her eyes. "Both my legs are broken..." she said as she then laid back down on the ground. "Angie..she..she went to go get help, but I am not sure where she is" she said as then her eyes closed.
Her body then began to go into shock, her body violently shaking. The cold, mixed with the pain made her body go into shock, and she was on the verge of death, as she was also losing alot of blood.

“Get her out of there!” Jesse ordered as he saw her shaking. Even though he was off the case he was still in charge. He looked around for signs of Angie and started running. He had to find Angie, the weather was dropping and the ran was coming down even more.
“Angela! Angie!” he yelled coming up on a building and seeing the backdoor open. Running up on it he stuck his head in and smelled gasoline. He knew his wife wouldn’t have went in there not even if it was the only place left for her to go.
Jesse sighed and looked around. “Angie!” he called hoping to hear her answer him back.

Angie sitting on the muddy ground, crying, felt her heart quicken. She heard somebody yelling leading her to jump up. “Over… over… over here.” she tried to spit out but wasn’t much coming out. Scuttling to her feet she ran towards it. The closer she got the faster her heart began to beat. That was a sign that it was the love of her life. Her feet sped up as she rounded the building.
“Jes… Jesse!” she cried as she stopped and saw him running towards her. “Jesse.” she sighed so happy to see him. Glad her husband was there to help her. Once again she started running and the faster she went the closer they got. The closer she got, the more relieved she felt. Soon she was throwing herself into his arms. She buried her head into his shoulders in cried.
No words were spoken, just their emotions. It spoke loud and clear. Then, “I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have left… Jesse I am so sorry.” she cried into his shoulder as he held her tight. “I love you Jesse… I love you so much!”

As he ran he felt different. Once before Angie told him that they were so in synced with each other they could feel when one is near. That was all Jesse needed to feel. Heart racing, mind in a boggle, hands trembling.
Jesse looked forward and saw her. He didn’t stop running, he only sped up. “Angela..” he yelled as she got closer and he opened his arms to catch her. Angela.” he said into her ear as he held her. Words couldn’t explain what it felt like having her in his arms again. After so many hours of being apart, he thought it would be a normal hug and kiss. But Angie’s life was in the balance that made matter’s worse. Jesse held her off the ground.
“Shhh.. No I shouldn’t have yelled. I shouldn’t have let you go. This is not your fault.” he said meaning it with every dime to his name.
“I love you too baby. I love you too.” he said as she pulled her head back and they started lovingly into each other’s eyes. “Forgive me.” he begged as they leaned into each other and captured each other’s lips. He didn’t let her down as the kiss deepened.

Forgive you, Angie thought looking into his eyes. Come on he just saved her life. He came to her rescue. Of course she was going to forgive him. The kiss they trapped each other in was a sure sign of forgiveness. The ran still falling around them she sighed into his lips as he deepened it. Oh how she thought this would have never happened. She thought she and Jesse may have never been able to do this again.
Her babies! What about her babies? How were they? Where were they? Her mind wandered as Jesse made her senseless to the previous events.

Cass followed after Jesse, she knew he was up to something. Why should she let him go alone. She came to a building as well and looked around. No signs of Jesse where could he have gone. The building looked to creepy, she had no back up, she wasn’t going on. Running around she spotted them. Her mother and Jesse running to each other. Her mother jumping in his arms and them kissing. She watched for only so long. After that she ran over. “Mommy!” she called as they pulled away and looked back. Cass made it to them and went into her mother’s arms.
“Don’t ever scare me like that again.” She cried as it finally hit her. This wasn’t no nightmare that her alarm clock would soon wake her up from. This was real. It could have ended in a bad way. Cass cried in her mother’s arms as the rain began to slack up.

Reggie stayed behind to help them get Brooke out of the hole. He walked by Tad and sighed. “Any longer and this may not end so nicely.” he whispered. The hole was deep and with the rain and the mud, it was bound to cave in. He could see that much.
He looked around for Cass and Jesse, hoping that they would soon return. When they didn’t return at the time he set in his mind, he ran off to find them. He wasn’t a woodsy type man but he wasn’t going to let it stop him. Cass was somewhere out there and not knowing if she was alone or not, scared him.
“Cassie!” Reggie yelled as he rounded some trees.
“Have they found Mrs. Hubbard?” An officer asked running up behind him.
“I’m not sure. I don’t even know where they went.”
“We need for you to return to main road. We don’t want to lose you as well.”
“I’m fine.” Reggie fought.
“Sir, please do as I say.” he warned. Reggie eyed him before taking off in another direction. He kept running until he stumbled upon the family reunion. The officer stopped and watched. “Your welcome.” he said.

“Come on you 2. Let’s get back before you two get sick.” Jesse took Angie’s hand and he started pulling her along when she stopped him. He turned around and saw her limping.
“Come on my big baby.” he said going back and picking her up. He carried her back through the woods and to the area where they found Brooke.
Just as they got over there, they had removed her and was placing her on a bed. Jesse looked at Angie, Cass and Tad. This woman started all of this and now she came out hurt. Not able to take over. Jesse had a mind to just arrest her now, place her in holding until she was better. After that he was going to have her locked up.
Jesse looked at Tad and handed him the cuffs. Giving him the go ahead to do his job.

Angie was in Jesse’s arm when she saw Brooke barely breathing. They tried to get her to breathe but they couldn’t see because of the rain. She also saw Jesse hand Tad some cuffs. “Jesse put me down.” she begged getting looks from Cass and Jesse. “Please.” she said as Jesse finally put her down.
“We can‘t bag her!” One of the EMT’s called out.
“Let me see.” Angie said as she hopped over and got down on her knees next to the gurney. She took the light from one of them and look down her throat. “It’s closed.” she cried feeling like this was the worst possible thing to do in the rain. But it had to be done. “Somebody get me a first aid kit, one of you hold this light.” Angie ordered.
“Mrs. Hubbard what are you doing?”
“I am saving her life!” she yelled as Jesse tried to stop her. “She tried to save mine and I am going to do the same.” she said as nothing else was heard but every breathing and rain. “One of you tell me what happened!” she said trying to keep her cool.
“We were asking if she was alright she answered but right after she started convulsing. When we got to her she stopped and started wheezing, we couldn’t find a pulse.”
“Ok…” she said a first aid kit was set beside her. She got closer and looked at Brooke’s neck. She ran her finger down the center and started talking to herself. Basically coaching herself. “Locate the indentation between the Adams apple and the Cricoids cartilage. Feel it by running your finger down the center of the neck, notice a small "valley" between the apple and the cartilage, called the cricothyroid membrane.” she finished by leaving her finger in that area and grabbing the scalpel. “Lord take my hand.” she said. Then she cut.
At that moment nobody was there but her and Brooke. Breathing with relief she grabbed the items and began to work like never before. Lastly she connected the bag and pressed it. Brooke’s chest began to rise and fall. “Get her to PVH now!” She ordered as somebody helped her up.

Jesse knew he was being evil but he couldn't help what he felt in his heart. Watching Angie save her life made his skin crawl. But Jesse couldn't jump to fast because Angie said, the woman saved her life. He needed to hear the whole story. Angie worked in the rain and when she finished he pulled her away so they could take Brooke to the hospital.
Pulling his wife in his arms he held her. She cried. "It's ok baby.. Let's get you home and into some warm clothes. Both of you." he said pulling Cass into his arms as well. Jesse looked at Reggie, "You get home too.." he said fatherly as he shook Reggie's hand.
Jesse then watched as they took Brooke away from the scene. Taking her back to the ambulance that was on the road.
