"They're two of the prettiest Angels I know of" JR smiled at his little sister. "Maybe the two of them are making popcorn and having movie nights together. " He said, trying to keep his mood light, not wanting to let his sister get too depressed. Surprisingly being with her helped him not let himself get too sad about anything either. Kathy was such a bright light, she had a way of making him feel better. She was so innocent, he never wanted her to go through anymore pain.
"We do have the best holidays together" JR agreed with another smile. "I love the smell of mom's baking in the kitchen while we decorate, then having hot cocoa and cookies after is the best" He told her before nodding as she told him he had to come find the tree with them this year. "You just let me know the time and place and I'll be there"
JR gave Kathy some space as she went over to Aunt Julia's grave. He hard her talk to her and then heard her voice crack. When she came back over to him he gave her a hug. "She loves you too, and is so proud of you, just like I am" He whispered softly before letting her go and bending down and putting the flowers on Babe's grave.
"She is my angel...I miss you Babe, so does AJ" He told his wife before taking Kathy's hand in his. He hoped that if there was a heaven that Babe had enough pull to keep him on earth a little longer. Of course he wanted to see her again, but he needed to be here for AJ. He couldn't put his son through the loss of another parent.

“I bet they watch the best movies in Heaven,” Kathy thought out loud. “They get to see them all before they come out as well. And they must have an endless room filled with popcorn and treats and candy! That’s what I think Heaven is like.” She grinned at the happy thought of Julia and Babe being together in Heaven, along with all the other people they’d loved and lost on Earth. She nodded to JR when he spoke of their holidays they all had together and she beamed at the memory.
“It’s the very best,” she agreed, still nodding at what he was saying. “And then we all put up our own ornaments on the tree, and the angel on the very top. Daddy has to help with that because me, AJ and Jenny are too short. But one day I’ll be tall enough to reach the very top of the tree, just wait! I’ll call you the minute daddy says we’re going to get the tree, promise JR.”
Once Kathy had finished over at Julia’s grave she went back to JR and hugged him tightly when he hugged her first. She didn’t want to let go, afraid that one day he might be gone too and they wouldn’t be able to hug anymore. “I’m proud of you too JR, for being the best big brother.” She smiled sadly and let go of him as he went over to Babe’s grave, listening quietly to him talk to her. When JR came back over and took her hand, she squeezed his gently, looking up at him again.
“She knows you miss her, JR,” she told her brother quietly. “She watches over you and AJ every day, I know it.” Giving his hand another squeeze she glanced at Julia’s grave before starting to walk towards the park. “How is AJ? Is he and Aunty Marissa having a playdate today too?” She saw the ice cream van and her smile grew, pointing in its direction. “We should get ice cream before it drives away!” She tugged his hand, changing direction from the park to the sidewalk where the van was parked.
