"Amanda, you don't have to apologize. I know my cousin is not the nicest person in Pine Valley, nor will he ever win Man of The Year" she said with a small smile, as she then looked over to David once more, and then looked back to Amanda. "I am feeling abit better. I still have a long recovery ahead of me, which I hate, but I have to go through it, to get better.." she said as she then heard her sister's voice. "Yes, I am still mad at you Frankie. You faked your own death on purpose..." Maggie said as she looked up to her sister in digust.
"Amanda, I suggest you stay far away from her, because she is nothing but a lier, and a con" Maggie said as she looked over to Amanda. "Frankie, I suggest you leave before I say something else that you do not want to hear. Now leave me be..."

Marian had finally arrived and saw all of her friends and family, not including David in those categories. She had spotted Dixie, JR, and the rest of the group, and made her way over there, with a smile. This was the first time in a long time that she smiled. She was planning on enjoying the days festivities, and activities, and enjoy family and friends. "Happy fourth Dixie!" she said as she gave the woman a hug, and then turned to hug JR. "Hey darling..." she said as she then looked down to Kathy, and got down onto her level.
"Hey Ms. Kathy...how are you doing princess?" she asked, as she smiled to the little girl.

Frankie just stood there in disgust at Maggie cussing her out and being mean to her, How could a sister treat her sister like that? "Maggie please, im your sister" Frankie said as Maggie turned to Amanda and called her a lier and a con, Frankie then just started running away and crying loudly and visably upset, so loud everyone in the park could hear her. She ran to the bench were Kate was, and sat down with her daughter.

Kathy had just been accepting a tray with snow cones on it when she heard a familiar voice talking to her mom and she looked up. Gently she put the tray on a picnic table and shyly went over to Marian as she bent down.
“Hi Mrs. Chandler,” she greeted, blushing a little before opening her arms wide and hugging her tightly. When she pulled back and pointed towards the cones in the tray. “I was getting snow cones for everyone, do you want one?” She reached over and pulled her pink one out, holding it up for her to have and glancing at her mom to make sure it was alright.

((Back on the other side))
“Erica, you don’t have to apologize to me. It’s okay,” she assured her best friend, giving her a knowing look before she turned and glared at David. It was then Jesse made it over to them and stood in front of her and the kids. Shielding them from the devil. “Momma, who is that man?” Adrian whispered, standing behind his mother’s leg. Angie ran her fingers through his hair and shook her head. “Nobody important baby boy. Nobody important,” she assured. “David just stop it,” Angie fussed, just as a very familiar voice cut through everything. All eyes went to the figure that just joined the group.
Angie wasn’t sure about anybody else but when she saw Josh was really alive, because in reality she had put it in her mind that David was lying, her mouth fell open. She remained silent up until the moment Josh suggested that they took care of this matter at a later time. Angie couldn’t have agreed more. “Jesse, maybe… Maybe he’s right. The kids didn’t ask for this and they really do not need to be around this. This is their day and we want them to have a good time. Everybody to have a good time. And they certainly don’t need to witness an arrest,” Angie whispered, reaching forward and rubbing his shoulders. “And I’m sure Josh is… is willing to do whatever you ask of him,” she hinted, giving Josh a look.
“David, as a favor to me… to us all, especially these babies, please leave.” Angie then turned to pick up Jocelyn and gesture to Erica. “Let’s go get the kids something. I know I have a taste for some sweet. How about you?” Angie looked to Adrian and his friend and gestured for them to follow her as well.

Erica looked at Angie & gave her a soft smile. She mouthed "thank you" to her, & then saw her son. She wasn't sure why he showed up, but she stood up, almost to protect him from David or Jesse. Not that Jesse would hurt him, but she didn't want him to be arrested. Not here. Not now.
She looked at him gently. "What are you doing here, Josh?" she asked, her eyes pleading for an answer. "I don't want anything to happen to you here, honey," she told him truthfully.
She then saw Angie talking to Jesse & breathed a sigh of relief. Hopefully, he'd wait, & hopefully, Josh wouldn't do anything stupid. She wanted him to cooperate, but she also wanted him to be free. She didn't want him in a jail cell or running from the law. Maybe she could talk to Kendall about the charges against him.
Erica nodded at Angie when she suggested they get some treats for their children. "Yes... let's go get something," she agreed, leaving Jack with Colton & Josh. She knew Jack could take care of everything.

When he was asked to just drop this and pretty much let a criminal go Scott free Jesse looked around like the group as if they lost their minds. Were they really serious he asked himself right around the same time Angie’s voice of reasoning came through. He looked over his shoulder at her and heard every word she was saying and even though Josh needed to be taken downtown Jesse didn’t want the kids witnessing that. “Go on. I’ll take care of this.” He told her.
“Stupi head!” Ari fussed to David as her mother carried her off. Jesse looked at her and shook his head letting her know that she shouldn’t be saying that. Even if David did deserve it. Jesse then turned back to David, smirked and then to Josh and sighed. “After this is all over you’re both coming with me to the station and Josh just incase you decide to slink out of here think about it. My officers are here and ready for anything. So one move, one stupid move and they won’t hesitate. Understand? This is your one warning and one warning only. Don’t mess it up.” He warned.
“David.. Leave. That’s all I’m going to say.”

"Actually, I will leave Jesse.." David said as he then looked to Josh. "My job is already done, isn't Josh. Stay away from my daughter if you know what is good for you.." he said as he then turned to Greenlee. "Congratulations on your engagement to my brother, but it will not last, I assure you.." he said as he then looked back to Jesse. "Alright, I'm leaving, but this isn't the last that you people will ever hear from me" David said as he turned and walked out of the park, but noticed Gillian who was spying on all of the guests. He was shocked to see her alive, because he thought she was dead, but then he smiled, because he knew he could use this to his advantage.
"Gillian Andrassy...I never thought I would ever see you again, but here you are, spying on the residents of Pine Valley. Now how is it possible that you survived being brain dead, Gillian?" David asked as he looked to her.

Frankie was crying and in tears over the hateful flith her sister had just flung her, She understood Maggie being somewhat angry, but everytime she and Maggie looked eye to eye, all Frankie could see was disgust, Frankie tried to calm down, but Kate kept asking questions, and Frankie tried to deflect, she then saw David again, and went to go say hi, when she got there she said" David Hayward, I tried saying hi earlier, but you would not even pay attention, so, how is my dastardly cousin doing?"

Josh looked to David, and glared for a few minutes. Who did David Hayward think he was? After watching David leave, Josh turned to Jesse, and assured him that he was staying put. "Look, I am not going anywhere. I am not running anymore Jesse. All it has done has cost my family alot of pain and suffering and I can't do that to them anymore" Josh explained to Jesse. "I will just sit here, and wait till the party is over, and then I will go down to the station with you, but like I said, their is no reason for ruining the kid's fun, when this has nothing to do with them.." Josh said as he sat down on the bench and looked over to Jesse. "Go and enjoy your family man, I promise I will stay here the whole time.." he said as he looked down.
He then looked up, and looked over to Greenlee. "What?" he asked as he leaned back into the bench. "You want to scold me too?"

"Oh I'm sure of it." Dixie assured, knowing Kathy had Tad wrapped around her little finger. And with both of them the sky was the limit when it came to sweet stuff. "Hmm, well green was always J.R's favorite when he was little. Jamie's too, so I think that's safe. And I think Marissa would want a pink one just like ours." As Kathy kept at her with questions, Dixie couldn't help but wish her daughter would stay this young, this curious, and this enthused about everything forever. "Well I heard there was gonna be fireworks tonight, not sure about the funny hats but.if we do find them we'll team up to get your dad into one!" As Kathy ordered the cones, Dixie spotted Marian heading towards them, and gave the older woman a smile and a quick hug. "Marian, hi! Happy fourth to you too." Watching Kathy offer up her snow-cone to Marian, Dixie chuckled and nodded for the older woman to take it. "Sunshine it's fine. I'll go get you another one right now." Walking over to the stand she saw Erica and Angie were headed over towards the concessions too with their kids. Smiling, a little nervously, she approached the group. "Hey guys, happy fourth!"

Erica gave Dixie a smile. "Hi Dixie... I'm really glad you're here," she told her friend, sitting down with her glass of water. She was exhausted. David had ruined her whole day & she wasn't sure how she was supposed to get past that. She didn't want to be upset for her son's birthday party... for Angie & Dixie's kids' party, either.
She looked up at her friends, though, & knew that they understood. David had been trying to ruin everyone's day. "I... I'm sure you heard David's commotion. I'm sorry I didn't say something about Josh earlier... everything has been so busy. I never, ever wanted the bombshell to be dropped on anyone like this. Especially you guys," she told them softly. She knew Angie said she didn't need to apologize, but she felt so guilty. David Hayward made her feel guilty. Again.

Leo had arrived to the gathering a little late. But as he was approaching he knew something was going on. Just by reading people's body language and seeing their faces as he got closer, he saw that most everyone at the park was upset, tense, or at least stressed. Leo gave a sigh as he easily figured out that the tension was directed at his brother, who he saw walking away from Greenlee (among others). Though he was curious to talk to David and his cousin who was now with him, he knew he needed to make sure Greenlee was alright, she was his priority.
He went over to her side. "Hey...sorry I'm late, it seems like I missed a lot...what happened?"

"I'm glad you're here too, Erica. I'm sorry it's been so long since I saw you." Dixie said sincerely, and gave Erica as much of a hug as she could before her friend sat down with her water. Hearing her apologize about the David chaos earlier, the blond sighed, shook her head, and also pulled up a seat nearby. "No...don't even think about apologizing, alright? That scene earlier was on David's head. His twisted, stupid head. Josh is your son, he's your family. If there were any bombshells regarding him, they were your's alone to drop. Not Hayward's. He had no right coming here and acting that way, stirring up all that trouble. With either of you." Dixie said resolutely, looking at both Angie and Erica when she made her statement, knowing David had gotten under her other friend's skin as well. "God I swear that man. I should just take the advice I gave Kathy earlier, not give him another thought. And so should you. Clearly you've got a lot of other, way more exciting things to focus on." She smiled, nodding to Erica's belly. "Gosh, Jackson must be more relaxed than I thought. When I was that far along with the twins I was amazed Tad didn't put me under house arrest. Ankle bracelet and all." Dixie chuckled. Quickly she glanced over at the twins playing and her smile went a little softer. Remembering when she was pregnant with them, and almost wishing she was again. As if sensing her mood though Tara came running over, with pink ice from her snow-cone all over her face and hands. "Oooh c'mere sticky.." She cooed, and grabbed a wipe from her purse before pulling Tara onto her lap. "C'mon gimme your face.." Struggling a bit she finally got her daughter to stop squirming. "Yeah, atsa girl."

Angie looked up at the sound of Dixie voice and smiled. “Hey, happy fourth to you too,” she said
“Erica,” Angie sighed, looking at her right after she set Jocelyn down and watched her run around Adrian and his friend. There was really no need for Erica to apologize to her nor anybody else for that matter. Dixie must have read her mind because before she could open her mouth to voice her thoughts Dixie spoke. “What Dixie said,” Angie said with a chuckle.
As Dixie did a smooth subject change Angie excused herself and went to the stand. It was in this moment she looked over at her husband, David and Josh. She didn’t know what was said between the men, but obviously Jesse threatened David or something in order to get him to leave without a fight. She really couldn’t believe the nerve of that man coming here and trying to wreak havoc on this day for the kids. Couldn’t believe she let him get under her skin after promising herself she wouldn’t. She definitely couldn’t believe he hinted to something only the two of them knew about. “Just like Jesse doesn't really know you, now does he?” Angie closed her eyes as the comment played over and over and over in her head. “That bastard,” she mumbled. “Here’s your snow cone ma’am,” Angie opened her eyes and looked the man in the eye. “Uh… Thank you,” she said politely making a quick switch, grabbing some napkins and turning to head back over to her friends. As she made the walk and spotted her babies playing the bed thoughts running through her mind came to a halt. Not the day, not the time… Not ever. David is not worth it. She chanted to herself. “What I missed?” She had a smile on her face. “Gimmie!” Jocelyn yelped, stopping her play with her brother and his friend and reaching up. “Here you go.” After gently handing her the snow cone, Angie turned and took a seat on the bench with her own.
