A Needed Getaway (open)

Once there car arrives and everyone piles in Marissa snuggles next to JR's side while AJ has his nose pressed against the glass making Colby laugh as she watches him look out at everything. Marissa lounges there against JR looking out at everything as she begins to speak.

"Hmmm I actually can't wait to get to the resort, maybe slip into my bikini and see if I can't get JR out onto the beach and maybe we can get lazy and just relax while AJ plays with the twins or what ever how does that sound to you hun..."

Marissa gives JR a small smile knowing she had bought a special bikini for said trip to the beach area. One that she knew JR would enjoy, usually she didn't buy stuff like this but she wanted to look extra good for the man that she loves. She had even purchashed some dresses and some other outfits incase they wanted to have dinner or go somewhere special while they were here in Hawaii.

About 20 minutes later they arrive at the resort, Marissa's mouth falls open as she sees how beautiful the resort actually is. Once the car comes to a stop, a tall hawaian man races over and opens the door before extending his hand to Marissa. She gives him a smile and accepts it before she steps out of the car followed by JR, Colby, and AJ. While the driver is getting there bags, the four of them head into the resort to be checked in.

About 10 minutes later JR and Marissa re led up to there suite since AJ is staying with Colby. The two walk inside and Marissa's Jaw instantly drops. She couldnt believe how beautiful the suite is and how beautiful the view is... Not to mention she was all alone with the man she loves anything could happen here in Hawaii.

Everything felt like one big blur from the moment they left the jet to the cry ride to the hotel. She’d stuck close to her mom in the hotel, though was beginning to get curious the more she saw of it as they headed to their room. When they entered the suite her mouth hung open and she immediately clapped her hands in excitement. The first thing she went over to was the window and out onto the balcony, her eyes dancing at the sight of the beach.

“Mommy, look!” she cried, pointing at it. Turning on the spot she realized her mom was back inside and headed in, listening to her describe the fruit basket they got. “I’m hungry. Do they have kiwi?” Heading over to her mom she examined what fruits and cookies it had. As her mom fussed over Tara’s sticky face, Kathy took a chocolate chip cookie and made a huge bite in it, grinning from ear to ear at the taste. However when she was asked about the room she jumped up and down excited.

“You can see the beach, mommy,” she told her. “And they have a pool! The room is perfect for the trip. Are we going to go swimming now?” Unable to sit still for a second she went towards the bedroom and stopped in the doorway. “Can I put my bathing suit on?” However, noticing Nolan asleep she got worried. “Do Tara and Nolan need a nap before we go?”

"Well, I didn't see kiwi in there but go on and take another look. Maybe I missed it.", Dixie suggested as she continued cleaning up Tara, while Kathy peppered her with questions and comments about the hotel.
"Oooh, I think we'll have to check out both before it gets too late.", she said enthusiastically. Seeing Kathy so happy made her happy by extension.
When she asked about the bathing suit, looking at her snoozy brother out of the corner of her eye, Dixie bit her lip. As much as she wanted to go exploring with her girls, she didn't want to disturb her little boy.

"Hey Dix how's it going in here?", Di asked poking her head through the door, smiling over at Kathy.
"Well Kathy and I'm pretty sure Tara are ready to hit the beach but, I can't wake Nolan up. It took him forever to fall asleep on the plane.", Dixie frowned.
"Oh it's okay I can sit with him.", Di offered.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, my nephew and I have the exhausted thing in common. I hate sleeping on planes too. I'll just bring him in my room and we can nap in front of the TV for awhile. Okay little man?", the blond grinned, kneeling down to stroke Nolan's hair.
"Well, if you're willing."
"I insist. Have fun Kathy, don't let your mom cheat at Marco Polo or anything."
"Hey!", Dixie pouted as Di smirked, then grabbed Nolan's carseat and diaper bag and walked back into her adjoining room, shutting the door behind her.
"Alright ladies looks like it's just the three of us. Sunshine go and change into your suit. I'll get Tara ready."

Turning her attention to her youngest, Dixie reached into her suitcase and pulled out one of Tara's swimsuits. It was pink and green polka dot, with a little skirt as the bottom. It didn't take long at all to get Tara changed into it, of anything she seemed excited. After getting her daughter ready, Dixie changed into a navy blue one-piece and a coverup.
Checking her reflection in the mirror, she adjusted the cover-up then turned back to her luggage and put together a beach bag. Including floaties for Tara, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, and a book or two.
"Alright looks like we're good to go little girl.", Dixie smiled as Tara babbled at her. Picking her up, she threw the bag over her shoulder before going back out to the living room.
"Kathy? We're ready when you are.", she called, then double checked the bag to make sure she had everything they'd need for the beach.

Kathy was still watching her sleepy brother when Di came in through the door and she looked up, giving her a half sad smile. Staying quiet as she listened closely to the adults talking she went over to her baby brother and gently pulled a small blanket around him. However, as Di mentioned that she would be willing to stay with Nolan while he was asleep, Kathy perked up and moved closer to her mom and Aunt.

“You’d really watch him?” she interrupted eagerly. “Thank you Aunty Di!” Giggling at the comment about watching to make sure her mom didn’t cheat at Marco Polo she nodded. “I promise!” Watching the two leave she turned to her mom and sister with a huge grin on her face. With the instructions to get changed she jumped up and down.

“I’m going, I’m going!” she cried and raced into the bedroom. Finding her bag on the bed, she quickly got changed into a black with different coloured stars one piece bathing suit and came back out just in time to see her mom packing a bag for the beach. Remembering her towel, Kathy disappeared back into the room and started rooting through her bag for her Finding Nemo towel. When she’d retrieved it she came out holding it like a cape on her back and grinning.

“I’m ready!” she cried and made a pose like a superhero before giggling and going to the door. She held it open for her mom who was carrying her younger sister and marched with them down to the elevator and out into the lobby. “Are we going to the beach first or the pool?” For the first time in a while she wasn’t looking at her mom, but to Tara for the answer, knowing her sister wasn’t strong enough to swim in the beach she thought it would be best to be her choice.
