[Bianca Montgomery]

After Jackson picked Bianca up at the airport and brought her home she went straight to unpacking and settling the girls in since it was nearly midnight and was glad when she hung the last sweater up. She smiled to herself and realized how tired she was but wanted to grab a cup of water before bed so she did not wake up dehydrated.

She went to the kitchen and grabbed the cup and filled it before going back to her room but on her way back she saw the light still on under Liza's bedroom door and decided to knock carefully just in case she was asleep. She was unsure of what she was going to say but once she saw the redhead in front of her she could not help but to smile at her.

"Hi Liza. It has been so long."

Liza was working on some paperwork for a case when she heard some commotion. She figured it was probably just Erica & Jack moving some things back into the house & re-situating since they had been doing that for almost a week now, so she ignored it. A while later, she decided that it was probably time for bed when she heard a knock on the door. She got up to answer, wondering what Jack or Erica could possibly want at this time a night, she glanced at the baby monitor, which was on, & then opened the door.

When she saw Bianca standing there, her eyes widened. No one told her she was coming home! She looked at her carefully & then moved to invite her in, unsure of where they stood now. "It has been a long time. How are you, Bianca? How was Paris?" she asked, still feeling a little uneasy.

"I am doing okay and Paris was good. I needed to get away from here I guess to see what I really wanted."

Bianca then took a breath. "I assume you got my voicemail. I did not know if you were avoiding me or if you just did not want to call back but I wanted you to know I did not plan any of this to happen and I am sorry if I hurt your feelings."

Liza looked at the brunette carefully. "So, you really wanted to leave? You wanted to get away from me?" she asked, not sure what Bianca was talking about when she said that she had to find out what she really wanted.

Then she shook her head before saying, "No... I actually broke my phone & I'm still waiting on the new one to get here. Wait... why? What did you mean, you didn't plan for this to happen? What is 'this'?" Liza questioned.

"No I did not want to get away from you Liza! I meant that I was glad to go because I saw that I even though I loved Maggie very much I am not ready to be in a relationship with her." Bianca was honest with Liza like she had always been but it seemed as though something had changed.

"Maggie came back to Pine Valley with me Liza but it is not like that! She came back with me and I told her that if we were going to be anything it would be friends. I told her that I had found someone else and even though I don't know where this is going I still like what we had because you really made me see that I can be happy with someone else if I find the right person. I know you love..her but I know that you have feelings for me too and that is how I feel about Maggie too."

Liza sighed. "Oh," she said, before sitting down on the bed. She was so stressed out & she felt bad for jumping down Bianca's throat when she probably hadn't even been in the house for more than ten minutes. "I'm sorry... I guess I'm just a little on edge from this case."

Liza then patted the bed as Bianca told her about Maggie coming back to town. "Actually, I think it will be good to have her back, Bianca. From what you've told me, she's been there for Miranda & she was there for you when you needed her," she said with a slight shrug. "But I do want to make something clear, Bianca. I do like you & I love the relationship we have right now. But if you want Maggie, just tell me, okay? I don't want to be hurt again."

"Really? Okay good. I did not invite her to come back Liza. She already had a plane ticket and I could not stop her but a part of me did not want to. A part of me wants her to be here for Miranda and Gabby and for me when I need her."

"No. I told you. I am not ready to be in a relationship with Maggie. I want to be with you right now and that is it. That is what I discovered in Paris. I know I should have been clearer earlier but it is the truth." Bianca took Liza's hand. "Listen. I like what we have between us right now too and I do not want to do anything to mess that up. I did want to tell you one thing though that happened between Maggie and me."

Liza nodded. "No, I understand, Bianca... I'm okay with this," she said.

She then listened as Bianca took her hand. "Wait... what happened between you two?" she asked, hoping that they did not sleep together. She didn't want to share Bianca if she had her & right now, it seemed that she did. She looked at Bianca carefully & awaited the answer as her heart pounded in her chest.

"We..we kissed Liza. Well actually Maggie kissed me and then we did not really speak about it anymore." Bianca played with her hands. "I did not mean for it to happen at all and I just want you to know that because you are important to me."

"This is so hard but I am going to do whatever I can to protect you through this process..although I do need to tell you something else. I actually told Maggie that I was involved with you after I made her promise not to say anything to anyone."

Liza felt a string tug at her heart. "Oh..." she said, at the same time she felt sad, though, she felt relief. At least they hadn't gone to bed together.

Then she heard what else Bianca had to say & her eyes grew wide. "Wait! You told her about us?! I can't believe you did that, Bianca! I wasn't ready for anyone to know... especially not her! If she wants to be with you, she'll come after me & try to talk me out of wanting to be with you," she said, as her face fell. She didn't want Maggie to know... not about this. She knew just from what Bianca had told her that Maggie wanted Bianca back, but right now, she was Bianca's & up until her return, they had both been fine with the relationship they had.

"No Liza she promised she would not say anything! Please don't be upset because I did not do this to make you upset. I did it because you are special to me and I wanted her to know that I was not just making someone up. I wanted her to know that what we have is real even if we may not be in love with each other."

Bianca put her arms around Liza and pulled her in closely. She wanted her to know that she was there for her. She was not going to leave Liza now. "It does not matter what she says okay because we know that right now this is what we both want. You know that you mean a lot to me and you know that I love her but I am not ready to be with her and I do not know if I ever will be okay?"

Liza nodded as she sat in Bianca's arms. On the verge of tears, she looked over at the younger woman & said, "Okay... as long as she doesn't say anything, I guess it will be okay. I'm sorry... this is just all happening so fast & I... I never even got to tell you how much I've missed you. I was really jealous when you went to see Maggie & I'm sorry I didn't call you," Liza shook her head.

She looked into Bianca's eyes & gave her a soft smile. "I won't listen to what anyone says unless it comes from you," she said, wrapping her arms around her.

"Liza I should have called you. I did not even make an effort because I was so caught up with going to Paris. I should have considered your feelings. I know that you probably could not have but I should have invited you to go with me. Even as friends it would have been a good gesture."

"The girls and I missed you too Liza. And please do not be jealous of Maggie because she is already jealous of you." Bianca continued to hold the lawyer. "Listen I just want to see what we have between us right now okay? Can we do that?"

Liza nodded. "Yes, but I understood. I just... I missed you. I should have made an effort, too, & I didn't. But I wanted you to know how much I missed you & how happy I am to have you here with me," she said as she started to tear up again in Bianca's arms.

She then wiped her eyes & said, "Yes, we should just explore what we have between us. I was stupid to think that I didn't have strong feelings for you before you left, because I did. Maybe if I had said that before, things would be different," she admitted.

"Really? I was feeling the same way. As soon as I saw Maggie I knew that I should have told you just how much I cared about you. But then she tried to tell me that you were just using me..I know that you aren't using me as an experiment. The woman in Spain..she was the experiment right?"

Bianca played with her hair as Liza pulled away. "I just want to be honest with you Liza. I am not in love with you but I love being with you. I love who I am around you. I love what you are like around me. I just think that is good..what we have right now and I am not going to do anything stupid like leave again and screw it up. If we do not end up together I want it to be a mutual decision."
