Standing up and looking around for her cell phone. “No, don’t think that because we’re not going to let that happen,” Angie assured her, stopping and staring at her. “And you’re right his intentions are not good. David doesn’t do good. Good is beneath him." Thinking back on what she said about allowing him in the room Angie shook her head. "You probably can allow him, but I don’t have too. PVH belongs to me and whatever I feel is best for my patients then I will do any and everything to protect them.”
Angie was about to call her husband when she saw the look of fear in her friend’s eyes. “I know you’re afraid but Erica, he’s not going to harm a single hair on that baby’s head. You understand me. You, that baby... Your family.” She sat back down and put her arm around her shoulders. “He can make all the threats he want, but with all of us they won’t mean anything. He can stand up to one, maybe two, but all of us… Every single one of us that loves you he has no chance what so ever.”

Erica nodded, taking in what Angie said. "I guess I should have come to you sooner, too. I don't know why I thought I could handle this situation without my best friend," she said with a soft smile.
She then hugged Angie as best as she could. "Thank you for always being there for me. I know we have Jesse & Jack, but it's nice that we have each other, too. I don't usually let myself have girlfriends, besides Opal, but thank you for being such a great friend, Angie. No matter what David tries to do, I am always going to see you as an amazing wife, doctor, friend, & mother," she said with a smile, hoping that Angie knew that what she was saying was the truth.

“I think our stubbornness was what kept us from coming to one another about this. But I do believe we have learned our lesson,” Angie replied giving Erica a smile of her own as she hugged her back.
Angie smirked and playfully rolled her eyes. “Don’t make me cry,” she half teased, pulling back. “And you remember those exact words as well the next time that man comes to you. Or the next time you start doubting yourself, no matter what you are a good wife, Jackson adores everything about you. You’re a wonderful mother, and if I’m sure you never doubt it, but you are also the best friend I could ask for. Like you I wasn’t too big on girlfriends either,” she smirked and shook her head. “At least until I returned to Pine Valley. Outside of this place you don’t find too many real friends. Ones that understand and support you. Have your back through whatever.”
